Welcome to Beauty Boutique by Meg, and thank you for choosing us for your treatment. We're so excited to have you!

Booking Process

Please make sure you have confirmed your appointment with a card and filled out any consultation forms if they have been sent to you. This ensures we are fully prepared for your visit and helps everything run smoothly on the day. The best way to book is via our online booking system. Once your appointment is booked, you’ll receive a confirmation email with all the important details—please check your junk mail if you don’t see it.

Consultation Process

If you’re new to us, we may email you a consultation form (or multiple forms depending on the treatments booked). Please complete these as soon as possible and with as much detail as you can, so we have time to review them before your appointment. If a face-to-face consultation is needed, we can arrange this in person or via Zoom if needed.

Kindness & Respect Toward Staff

At Beauty Boutique by Meg, we pride ourselves on creating a safe, friendly and respectful environment for everyone. We do not tolerate any form of rudeness, aggression, or disrespectful behaviour towards any member of staff.

Any inappropriate language, tone or actions will result in refusal of service and potential banning from booking future appointments. Kindness costs nothing, and we expect all interactions to be polite and respectful.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service if:

You are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

You are under 18 years of age and cannot provide valid ID.

You exhibit rude, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour.

You have contraindications that make treatment unsuitable.

You have a history of payment issues or excessive cancellations.

We believe dishonest behaviour has taken place (e.g., abusive messages, non-payment, etc.).

Our salon is a peaceful and professional space, and we aim to protect the atmosphere for our clients and staff.

Punctuality / Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you are late, your treatment may be shortened or cancelled altogether depending on how late you arrive, and you will be charged the full treatment price.
Repeated lateness may result in having to pay for future appointments in full at the time of booking. If it continues, full pre-payment may be lost upon any further late arrivals.

Cancellations & No Shows

We require 48 hours’ notice for all cancellations or appointment reschedules. If this is not met, you will be charged the full treatment price.
We also have a strict no-show policy—failure to attend your appointment without notice will result in the full treatment cost being charged.

Age Requirement for Treatments

Some treatments require you to be 18+ for insurance purposes. Clients aged 16–17 must have an adult present during the treatment. Only select treatments (e.g., nail polish) may be available for clients under 16 and only with adult supervision.

Patch Testing

Treatments that require a patch test must be patch tested at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. Even if you’ve had the treatment elsewhere, we must carry out our own patch test for insurance and safety reasons. If a reaction occurs, please let us know immediately so your appointment can be cancelled or amended.

Refunds

Refunds are not offered on any treatments provided. We carry out a full consultation prior to and during your treatment to ensure you are happy at every step, and confident in your results.

Children on Premises

Unfortunately, due to insurance reasons, children are not allowed to accompany parents/guardians to appointments or be left in our reception area.

​

Mobile Phones

Please kindly turn off or silence your mobile phone during your appointment to help maintain a calm and relaxing environment for all clients.

​

Courses of Treatments

All treatment courses purchased must be used within 3 months from the date of purchase.

​

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers must be mentioned at the time of booking and presented on arrival. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred. Please check the expiry date of any prepaid treatments or vouchers before use.

Please allow up to 2 working days for a response. Your satisfaction is very important to us, and we will always try our best to resolve any concerns.

Personal Information

Please keep your contact information up to date with us. This allows us to get in touch with you about your appointments or if any changes are needed.

TRAINING TERMS & CONDITIONS

All deposits are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend the course and need to cancel it, the deposit will be lost. If the course needs to be rescheduled, we will need a minimum of 14 days’ notice for us to transfer the deposit over to another date. Failure to give at least 14 days’ notice and the deposit will be lost and will need to be paid again. No place on a course is secured without a deposit.

Remaining balances for courses must be paid 1 week before the course date. Failure to pay the balance on time may result in your place on the course being lost so please ensure you can pay in time. If you choose not to continue with the course or fail to attend it after we have received full payment, no refund will be made. Please bare this in mind when choosing course dates and ensure you are definitely able to attend before making any payments.

Failure to attend or give 14 days notice to reschedule the course you will still be required to pay the repayments and will also have to pay again for the new course date (otherwise we can reschedule under the original finance plan)

Agreed Terms Prior to Booking When prompted all previous qualification certificates must be provided I agree that I will be able to attend the dates and times agreed in advance I agree that all my personal details given are accurate I agree to photos or videos being taken on the course dates by beauty boutique to be used on social media for promotional purposes.

Refunds Once you have completed the course you will not be refunded for any reason. 

Once the course has been paid in FULL, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
